The Mesa real estate market has been extremely hard hit by foreclosures and short sales. These distressed properties make up 67.2% of all of the sales / listings. The good news is that more homes were sold in 2010 than in 2009 in the Mesa area.
Mesa has a very diverse set of communities and neighborhoods. Mesa is home to the Chicago Cubs spring training, Gateway Airport re-development and many businesses; large and small. Mesa also boasts multiple higher education campuses such as ASU Polytechnic, Mesa Community College and DeVry Institute of Technology.

Dena is a residential Realtor® with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and works out of the Chandler office. Dena has lived in the southeast valley for more than 20 years and bought her first home in Mesa in 1986. After spending 20+ years in the Newspaper / Media industry, she decided it was time to start a second career. She chose real estate.
