Etiquette and Business Protocol
Mark Twain once said “Etiquette requires us to admire the human race.” This philosophy combined with The Golden Rule, explains the true nature of etiquette and protocol education. Kindness and consideration of others comes first and when coupled with a strong sense of personal awareness of our own behavior, it’s quite easy to be the person everyone wants to spend time with and get to know. Putting others at ease, whether that be in a social or business setting is the true sign of a genteel, educated (and typically), successful person. The lost arts of social etiquette and business protocol have become stigmatized over the years; but the gifts they lend do truly afford an individual the perceptible difference between seeming capable, confident in ones’ own skin and empowered in their own beliefs and abilities.
