Proof that Facebook Brings Major Traffic to Site

I’ve always been a believer that Social Media & SEO were a perfect pair, but even  I didn’t realize the half of it until today when I checked the Analytics Report for one of my favorite sites, Arizona Women Networking. I set the time frame for the past 2 weeks to get a nice clear picture of what traffic was like. Well, check out this beauty…

Now follow the red arrow and take a seat because here’s the real mind blower. This site has a #1 ranking for its keyword at Google, YET the #1 traffic referrer was Facebook! So clearly, the above illustrates that not only are SEO and Social Media a perfect pair — they’re a match made in Heaven!

Arizona Women’s First Open House

And what a success it was! On Wed, Jan. 13th we held our Open House Mixer at the Mondrian in Scottsdale to standing room only. Members, future members and guests alike were treated to the Mondrian’s posh meeting room and a memorable evening of learning and networking.

President, Gia Heller updated everyone on how our organization grows via SEO Internet Marketing and Social Media. She then gave her testimonial on how social media has boosted her commercial real estate business these past few months when she acquired several new contracts as a result of her social networking.

Member, Christie Giannetto also took the floor with her testimonial on how social media, in just a short time, has helped grow her Arizona Lifestyle Team Real Estate.

The evening wrapped with an update given by our VP and resident SEO Internet marketer, Donna Krstec, with basic tips on how to get started with SEO and how crucial it is for all members to contribute their efforts for the organization’s continued high rankings with the engines. You can also visit Donna at Arizona SEO.

Learning, networking and mixing it up at the Mondrian — how bad can that be? Hope to be seeing even more at our next Mixer. We’ll keep you posted.

Why Arizona Women Networking?

Many months ago, my broker urged me to form a leads group consisting of business people in the Phoenix area that could be a source of referrals for me as well as I for them. I thought to myself “Ugh, another networking group?”, I wasn’t sure I wanted to be the leader of a networking group. I also cringed to think that I would be asking busy people to take more time out of their hectic schedules to sit and talk with me. I decided to shelf the idea, permanently.

Luckily, my broker, James Robinson of Phoenix Realty Advisors is persistent and continued to tell me to start this group week after week. But, I came to the conclusion that if I was going to ask high caliber people to join me twice a month, that I better offer some more value than just a discussion/leads group. I began to research Search Engine Optimization and social networking and even became certified in SEO. I realized through research that this was the wave of the future and anyone not on board would soon be eating the dust of their competitors that were already moving full steam ahead towards internet marketing.

After some thorough research, I figured out that approximately 75% of all networking is done by women. Hence, I decided that this group would be strictly composed of women. I also decided that the way to obtain the loyalty of these women was to only allow one woman from each specialty to be part of the group, thus receiving 100% of all leads generated by the club. In addition, I decided that I would instruct and educate these women on social networking and internet marketing. One by one I signed up women that were the leading experts in their field and now we have around 25 fully active and participatory members. We even have waiting list for certain fields already!

Our website is currently well under way to becoming Arizona’s leading source of recommendations as well as an all female Arizona business directory.  Want more information on Arizona Women Networking and how to apply for membership? Contact me today about joining!
