About Brenda Laskoskie

Brenda Laskoskie, owner of Dei-Zinz’, began her floral and interior plant experience in 1976 when she owned and operated garden centers and a retail florist shop in the Houston area. She completed her Floral Design School training under Frankie Shelton, designated as the White House Florist during the Nixon administration.
After selling the retail outlets, Brenda furthered her career in the nursery industry as a manufacturer’s rep to nurseries and garden centers in Texas until moving to Scottsdale in 1985. In Arizona, she continued working in the field, first as a floral manufacturer’s rep and then as co-owner of B&H Marketing, a wholesaler of silk and artificial plants and floral arrangements.
B&H’s customer list was impressive comprising a number of regional chain stores including Home Depot, Safeway, Bashas, Albertsons and others totaling to over 875 grocery stores in the Southwest and Midwest region. In addition to products provided for re-sale, Brenda also designed and installed grand-opening and in-store floral displays in a number of stores. In recognition of her creativity, she was honored with Safeway’s “Best Presentation of Merchandise” vendor award.
In 1994 Brenda opened Dei-Zinz’, a more creative outlet encompassing all aspects of design, to build a retail presence and to avail the public of their design services.
