Aerial Photography
Aerial photography provides a unique, and complete perspective that is unattainable through conventional platforms. Aerial photographers use airplanes, helicopters, radio controlled devices, balloons or other means to rise above the horizon to capture the image.
The two basic types of aerial photography are vertical and oblique. Vertical is most commonly related to mapping and plotting services. Oblique images are where the camera direction is at an angle to the ground.
Oblique aerial photography has many uses and benefits that go well beyond the vertical application, such as: marketing commercial/residential real estate, documenting construction progress, architectural graphic, site analysis, promoting special events, land development feasibility analysis, investor relations, and solar energy development projects.
