Maureen Anders is a lawyer who has practiced law in the Phoenix metropolitan area for the last 24 years. She is well known by her clients and peers as the person who will work around the clock to get deals done. She is also known as the “go-to” person when a client or business colleague needs to make a connection to get something done. If Maureen cannot do it herself, it is safe to bet that she will know someone who can. Although Maureen specializes in commercial real estate law, real property leasing and real estate finance, she is able, in association with her partners at her firm, Sherman & Howard L.L.C., to help clients with a wide variety of legal matters and issues. Maureen also represents clients in matters involving construction law, business law and corporate and business organization matters.
Maureen has received several commendations by her professional peers including being recognized in the “Attorneys to Know” section of Arizona Commercial Real Estate’s 2009-2010 edition of “Top People to Know in Commercial Real Estate”, The Best Lawyers in America® in the specialty of Real Estate Law, 2010; in Southwest Super Lawyers as one of the Southwest’s Super Lawyers, 2009; and in The Business Journal as the Best of the Bar, Real Estate Law, The Business Journal, 2003. Maureen has been a member of the National Network of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) since 1988. She has held a variety of positions with that national trade association, including President of the local Chapter (1996), President of the national association (2000) and Chair of CREW’s philanthropic foundation (2004).
